Well, it has been a while since I have posted....I have been traveling and moving. We just moved into our home in lower highlands of Denver. We are so excited to be home owners! It's a lot of work but totally worth it! Now that we are moved in, I am ready to get bloggin! Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Over our jam packed weekend, we got to witness our friends wedding. It was an amazing wedding, we had never been to a catholic wedding. It was half in Spanish and half in English. We really had no idea what was going on but it was beautiful. Congrats to Chris and Ilda, we love you guys!!

Friday was my 27th birthday and we celebrated all weekend. Thursday we had a fabulous dinner with our fabulous Denver friends. Friday we flew out to Phoenix to spend the weekend with my parents and go to our friends wedding. On Sunday we flew to Las Vegas to see Madonna.....she looks amazing and sounds amazing. We also got to spend some time with Alex's parents, which was nice to see all of them. We had a jam packed weekend but it was so much fun! Happy Tuesday evening!

London town

The first day Bryan and I arrived in London from Paris, I got yelled at by a British woman. So of course I yelled back. Bryan told me to be quiet of course and you know me.... Anyways, after that we made it to our hotel which was in the Bloomsbury area, right next to Bryan's school. Which is Sotheby's Art Institute of London, he is studying art business.

Here is Bryan in front of his school. I asked him if he would show me the special stomp to get in and he said no...so rude! Harry Potter would have told me....it looks like the order of the phoenix house. I sent my Mom an email with these pictures and I said Bryan was attending Sotheby's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and she asked what the hell he was doing there? Oh my Mom is amazing, Bryan and I had a good laugh. Bryan will be graduating with a degree in wizardry and art business Mom.

The weekend before Bryan had his first classes, we did a lot of site seeing and walked our little butts off. It was the perfect temperature out, I even got a little hot. Bryan said I looked like a tennis ball walking around London, and thank god because he could always find me.
 

I was alone a couple of days in London while Bryan was at school but I kept busy. I took the tube all by myself. I did see a rat, and I got a little freaked out. I was looking around to see if anyone cared but no one even noticed. I went to Harrods......holy smokes!!! I want to shop there and live there, I walked around with my mouth open like a total creeper. It had the most amazing clothes I have ever seen, straight from the runway to Harrods! Well, London is an amazing city and I feel like there is a lot more to see, good thing Bryan will be there for a year so maybe Alex and I can make it back there. I am happy to home with my loves and we are getting ready to move. Yes we are moving to our new duplex in the city next month..YAY!!

Oh hello fall...

France

Chateau De Versailles:

Our first full day in France was spent at the beautiful Chateau De Versailles. I love Versailles, if they would let me move in I would. Every time I go to Versailles its like seeing it for the first time, it is so amazing! We rented bikes right when we got there and biked all over Versailles. Just in case you were wondering who we are...I am talking about my fabulous brother Bryan and I. Alex had to stay home, so sad....grad school is a bitch! 

City of Paris:

It was seriously so hot in Paris...well like high 80's. Which was nice but not for my sweating feet, oh did I get the blisters. I had to buy a pair of the ugliest flip flops until I could find some cute scandals. Bryan made fun of me, along with the french women...well that is what he said. I will not be sharing those pictures. Bryan did get a video of it and will be showing the family one day. We also ate our faces off, I had at least two croissants a day and Bryan had at least one baguette a day. 

Oh Paris you are fabulous!! 

Giverny, France. Claude Monet's Home:

Claude Monet's home was amazing. Giverny is about hour and a half outside of Paris. It is worth seeing people....the home itself is beautiful but the gardens and the lily ponds are breath taking. You really see where he got his inspiration from. Monet was one of the first artist to paint outside, most artists of his time painted in a studio. Monet Painted outside to be able to see how the sunlight changed during the day and how it bought new life to everything, like the water, flowers, boats etc. We had a wonderful time in France and to be honest Bryan and I do not speak french very well....not a big surprise there! We laughed our heads off trying to communicate though, they were probably laughing too. I am so happy that I got to share this experience with my big brother!

This past weekend we enjoyed the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, stage 6 started in Golden(our home) and ended in Boulder and then we got to see the finish on Sunday in downtown Denver. I love me some men in spandex shorts...my husband looks amazing in his bike shorts...just saying.

So this last week has been crazy...hopefully things will calm down soon. Next week I am off to Europe, my brother Bryan is going to grad school in London and I am supervising him the first week. We are also spending a week in Paris...I can't wait!

Hello there...I know its been a few days but we have been on a mission. The mission is house hunting, it is so much fun but a little stressful at the same time.
